Events at Alameda Bicycle

It's not enough just to sell bikes. We also want to make sure that the people who buy them use them and enjoy them. We want to build community and encourage lifestyles that are healthy and sustainable.
Please note: We wish everyone Happy Holidays and will resume our events in April when the rains end.

Ride on 2 Wheels

2nd Sunday of the month
from 10am - 12pm

We'll help you get off training wheels, or learn how to ride a bicycle for the first time. Bring your bike, helmet, and a dash of courage — we'll provide the rest.

Flat Tire Clinics

4th Sunday of the month - 5:30pm

Our free clinic is a perennial favorite! Bring your bike or wheel and we'll provide the tools and education to increase your confidence in changing a flat tire.
Mountain Bike Skills Clinic

3rd Sunday of the month - 10:00 am

Our skills clinic is open to all mountain bikers, but is catered towards newbies or those that haven't ridden in years. We'll guide you through the basics of mountain biking: climbing efficiently, safe descending, braking basics, and shifting tips. Helmet, hydration, and flat tire kit required.

We provide shuttle services for your bike and person, as well as guide support, so please RSVP at info@alamedabicycle.com to ensure proper staffing and transport - let us know if you need a ride for yourself and / or bike.

Please arrive at 10 am to provide time to look over your and pack your bike. We'll leave promptly at 10:15 am.
Coffee Shop Rides

Every Other Thursday - 6pm

A relaxed ride, less than ten miles ending at a different bay area coffee shop each time....
Any bike is okay (you'll need lights, we'll be riding at night), any speed is okay, this is not a fitness ride, just a social ride. Riders of all abilities are welcome...

Meet at Alameda Bicycle @ 6pm and we'll roll out by 6:30.
Team Alameda
