Road Bikes

A road bike is the perfect tool for fitness, to zen out on solo climbs, to get some sun and exercise with buddies, and to test your limits in competitions. They also make great commuters depending upon the terrain and distance traveled.

Racing bicycles are the preferred choice for competitive cyclists. The angles are manipulated for maximum wind-drag reduction - your body is stretched and flat. Comfort race bicycles have emerged as the dominant segment for century riders and competitive racers alike. They remain racy and lightweight while providing a more comfortable ride. The secret lies in the angles and tube lengths of the frame. A shorter top-tube makes you more upright and comfortable, and a longer wheelbase gives you more stability & a less jarring ride. But the bikes still handle extremely well and accelerate fast enough for competitive riders.

Touring bicycles are perfect for long trips across the country or relaxing rides through flat terrain. They also make great commuters. Touring bicycles have a long wheelbase for ultimate stability and generally utilize steel frames for greatest comfort.
