After a long hiatus due to COVID, we're stoked to announce that Bike for the Parks is back for 2023!  This is a charity ride around Alameda hosted by Alameda Friends of the Parks, whose mission is to promote, protect, and support recreation and park activities as well as  community wellness in Alameda. They carry out their mission in cooperation with the Alameda community and/or the Alameda Recreation and Parks Department.  

Alameda Bicycle, along with other prominent island groups like ARPD, Alameda Rotary Club, Team Alameda, and Lars Hansson CPA helped to create and support an annual bike ride fundraiser for Alameda parks and build community love.

This year's family bike ride fundraiser will begin at Lincoln Park and end at Jean Sweeney Open Space Park, where there will be music, food and fun at the end of the ride! Cost of entry includes a lunch and reflective vest! Click the link below to register, volunteer, and learn more.
