Ride with your kids to school

We're starting a bike bus in alameda

Starting August 16th, 2024, George and the crew at Alameda Bicycle will be riding every Friday through our neighborhoods to help get kids to Edison Elementary.

We'll meet at the corner of High St. and Bayo Vista and leave promptly at 7:55. There will be stops at:

1) Lincoln Park Pickleball Court (leaves no earlier than 8:01)

2) Versailles and Van Buren (leaves no earlier than 8:08)

3) Arrive at Edison Elementary (before 8:20)

Feel free to join in anywhere along our route as well!

We'll announce any changes to the schedule here. The plan is to run weekly. Rides will be cancelled if it's raining. Please check back here for any updates or changes to our schedule.

Be sure everyone has a helmet. Don't have one? Call, text or just ask one of us ahead of time and we'll bring one with us for the ride for you to borrow.

This bike bus is run by Alameda Bicycle and not organized or sponsored by Edison Elementary. Please feel free to stop by the shop with any question you might have!
