Byway is for days of endless hardpack exploration and gravel grinding while also providing noticeable efficiency on any pavement linking it all together. A swiftly smooth centerline is paired to a textured intermediate section that provides a seamless transition onto small outer knobs for unwavering traction in loose dirt and gravel. Prominent outer knobs also extend down the sidewall to provide an additional level of defense from roadside unpleasantries of all shapes and sizes.
Byway 34 is an identical replacement to the previously named Exposure 34 tire. We renamed the tire to create a uniform naming structure where all tires are named according to tread pattern.
SG2 PUNCTURE PROTECTION:
Most sizes of this tire are available with our all-new SG2 Puncture Protection, which is a lightweight nylon insert that provides bead-to-bead coverage and ensures every area of the tire is defended against slashes and punctures. As events become progressively rougher and cyclists pedal farther, gravel gets tougher. It only makes sense for gravel tires to become tougher as well. Please refer to the charts below to determine which versions are available with SG2.
- Nylon fibers have a flat profile, which reduces the amount of rubber needed to fill the gaps between fibers and minimizes weight.
- Protected SG2 gravel tires feature a 120tpi casing, which improves suppleness compared to a traditional 60tpi tire.
- SG2 was specifically designed to be a puncture protection layer, but it also improves air retention and eliminates seeping at the sidewall.
FEATURES:
- Smooth centerline for efficiency with diamond-shaped outer knobs for grip in the dirt.
- High volume tire enables a comfortable ride.
- Dual Compound rubber means a fast-rolling tire with great corning traction.

Tight enough tread spacing for high speed, drag-free onslaughts, yet blocky and tall enough to really dig in when it comes time to slam on the brakes. A rounded profile and staggered, supportive side knobs keep clamoring for traction even as the trail loses its camber. Most often used as a rear tire, the Trail Boss also keeps the front in check on hardpack trails. Want to go out and own it? Be the Trail Boss.

GRAVEL
Cannonball is a go-to gravel race tire for normal conditions. The tread pattern features a directional, tight-knit center tread that sheds dirt and debris to decrease rolling resistance, and side knobs for effective cornering traction. Cannonball is built for all-around gravel riders and racers.
HOW IT WORKS
- Center lugs are raised and ramped for rolling efficiency; the diamond-shaped lugs squeeze in for grip as they contact dirt, then back out to shed debris.
- Transitions lugs are spaced out and vary in height to boost traction.
- L-shaped side lugs dig in for grip while braking through corners, but roll quickly when off the brakes.
$70.00 - $80.00
OFF-ROAD
Ehline is an ideal tire for modern XC trails: fast-rolling without compromising cornering performance. Ehline’s tread pattern and casing provide more traction and durability than traditional XC tires, making it a great choice for riders who take on increasingly aggressive and challenging terrain.
HOW IT WORKS
- Center lugs are short, tightly-spaced, and ramped to roll quickly; perpendicular siping provides grip during both braking and acceleration.
- Transition lugs are ramped to roll quickly and spaced out to shed mud; horseshoe-shaped siping allows lugs to conform to the terrain to maintain traction during braking.
- Side lugs are taller and staggered, with parallel siping to enhance grip while leaning into a turn.
$65.00 - $78.00
ALL-ROAD
From minimum maintenance to decaying pavement, rolling hills to near vertical climbs, Rampart was made for riders who want the freedom to pick their own path no matter what the road looks like. These tires were designed and inspired by our experiences riding and racing courses with varying conditions.
HOW IT WORKS
- Center tread is smooth and fast-rolling for straight-line speed; thicker center tread and durable casing lasts longer even on harsh surfaces.
- Transition and side lugs consist of 3-2-1 siping for traction on all road surfaces.
$65.00 - $80.00
Designed with the unknown in mind, the Rutland takes the guess work out of selecting the right tire for the ride. Ramped, tightly spaced center lugs reduce rolling resistance while larger, more spaced-out shoulder and transition lugs provide grip in loose conditions.
- Designed and inspired by experiences riding and racing rolling coarse-gravel routes
- Tubeless ready for flat prevention, lower-pressure traction and comfort
- Ideal internal rim width is 23mm
HOW IT WORKS
- Center lugs are large and widely spaced for braking and acceleration grip, and ramped to lower rolling resistance.
- Transition lugs are spaced out to shed mud; siping conforms to the road surface for increased traction in corners.
- Side lugs are staggered to provide traction in more aggressive turns and on loose surfaces.
$32.00 - $78.00
GRAVEL
Sometimes the greatest journeys are full of memorable experiences: churning over towering mountain passes, trying to make it to the next town before the café closes, pedaling from sunrise to sunset, or sleeping in when you’re gifted with perfect weather and an incredible view from your tent. We designed the Sparwood around long-distance mixed-terrain routes, for riders seeking to experience the land, not just ride on it.
HOW IT WORKS
- Center lugs are raised and ramped for rolling efficiency; the diamond-shaped lugs squeeze in for grip as they contact dirt, then back out to shed debris.
- Diamond- and chevron-shaped transition lugs feature staggered spacing and height to improve shedding and traction.
- L-shaped side lugs dig in for grip while braking through corners, but roll quickly when off the brakes.
$75.00 - $78.00
When you’re out on a ride the last thing you want is to be limited by your tires in any way. Our ExtraTerrestrial Tires were designed to let you ride without limits by simply following the only tenets we have for tire design: they’re high volume and they kick ass. The ExtraTerrestrial tire was meant to serve as a heavy-duty off-road touring tire that shines on hardpack surfaces. It uses a nylon breaker in the sidewalls for cut protection, a molded pattern for anti-cut propagation, and a Kevlar cap under the tread to protect against flats. The ET Tire uses a distinctly directional tread pattern and its width yields more traction than you might expect from a tire with such little rolling resistance. The tread is low profile with a file tread in between tread blocks. The ExtraTerrestrial tire has enough width and traction for the soft stuff and won’t bog you down on smooth or hard surfaces.

PureGrip Compound
Based on activated silica compounds, this technology was originally intended as an performance level compound, but after intensive development at our Korbach Research and Development Department Facility, an advanced new compound with outstanding grip and cross-country properties was developed. This new rubber mix, given the self explanatory name "PureGrip", is ranked just behind our BlackChili Compound and is being used in our performance products both in the road and mountain bike sectors. Whilst providing great grip, it is also long lasting and highly durable – both characteristics of Continental tires, which are exclusively manufactured in the factory in Hefei (Asia).
Suitable for E-Bikes
For our E-Bike tyre we fall back on over 100 years' experience with moped and motorcycle tires. All of our city/trekking tires are rated to a standard speed of at least 25 km/h. Those tires marked e50 are also certified for S-Pedelecs. Judge is our rowdiest rear tire…for loose, sketchy descents. Centerline knob groups alternate between long and wide to pair hard braking traction with the rolling efficiency you demand of a rear tire. Burly outer knobs provide the support needed to keep them digging while slapping berms or spraying loam. We optimized the Judge for wide rims to provide a flatter tire profile that makes the outer knobs easy to find while cornering. The Judge keeps everything in order, whether dry and loose or wet and sloppy.
- Massive side knobs and a beefy overall design that grabs in every direction
- Designing tires around wide rims provides additional support while also bolstering sidewall protection through ample tread overhang
- Ideally paired with a Vigilante 2.50 or Verdict 2.50 on the front
$93.95
Judge with SG1 is our rowdiest and toughest rear-focused tire. Centerline knobs alternate between long and wide to provide the hard braking traction and efficiency required of a rear tire. Burly outer knobs provide support and dig in to keep you glued threw off-camber corners. Judge features a flatter tire profile than most other tires, which makes it easier to reach the outer knobs when cornering. The Judge keeps everything in order, whether dry and loose or wet and sloppy. SG1 puncture protection runs under the tread cap and has extended bead protection.
Big Knobs, Big Sipes
Massive knobs in every area of the tread prove that the Judge prioritzes traction above all else. Long, thick knobs till through rocky terrain without folding under heavy cornering forces. Each knob features full-length siping to essentially double the amount of knob edges contacting the trail.
Flat-Top Profile
The side-to-side tread arc of the Judge is "flatter" than most tires, which results in the side knobs engaging sooner while cornering compared to a tire with a rounder profile. This allows the side knobs to dig into the terrain quicker and deeper, which improves cornering traction on loose, off-camber trails.
Rear-Focused Design
Judge features wide, blocky knobs that maximize braking traction and improve the longevity of the tire. The side knobs overhang the sidewall of the tire to protect it from slashes while you're steering with the rear. We suggest pairing the Judge with a Verdict 2.5 or Vigilante 2.5 on the front.
TCS Tubeless-Ready
TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is WTB's standardized tubeless system. These tires feature a TCS tubeless-ready casing, which nearly eliminates flats and allows lower tire pressures to improve traction and comfort over a traditional tube-type tire.

SG2 PUNCTURE PROTECTION:
These tires are available with our all-new SG2 Puncture Protection, which is a lightweight nylon insert that provides bead-to-bead coverage and ensures every area of the tire is defended against slashes and punctures. As events become progressively rougher and cyclists pedal farther, gravel gets tougher. It only makes sense for gravel tires to become tougher as well.
FEATURES:
- Widely spaced square knobs deliver consistent traction while shedding muck with ease.
- Performs well in all conditions, no need to swap tires based on the weather.
$69.95 - $76.95
Resolute is the ultimate all-weather gravel tire for those who don't want to fuss with conditions-specific tires for every season. Small, square knobs deliver consistent bite into a variety of terrain, while the ample spaces between them prevent packing up when conditions become fun (a.k.a wet). Truly all-season in nature, the Resolute's 42mm width makes it a set-it-and-forget-it gravel tire for endlessly undulating roads through all varieties of weather. Now available in 50mm width making the go to tire of choice for any adventure rider.
Mud-Shedding Design
Widely spaced square knobs deliver consistent traction while shedding mud or clay with ease. Performs well in all conditions, which means there is no longer a need to swap tires based on the weather.
Consistent Square Knobs
There are numerous ways to increase the speed of a gravel tire, but consistently spaced knobs with substantial surface area is the best way to achieve it. Resolute excels in efficiency by staying on the surface of the terrain until pedaling or braking forces it to dig in.
Supported Outer Knobs
Rows of outer knobs are connected by a supportive base that runs the entire circumference of the tire. Additional rubber at the knob bases allow them to dig in without the unsettling feeling of a knob folding while cornering. This make the Resolute one of the most confidently cornering gravel tires in our line.
TCS Tubeless-Ready
TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is WTB's standardized tubeless system. These tires feature a TCS tubeless-ready casing, which nearly eliminates flats and allows lower tire pressures to improve traction and comfort over a traditional tube-type tire.
Available with SG2 puncture protection
SG2 is our unique puncture protection technology that provides bead-to-bead coverage to ensure both the tread and sidewall are protected from slashes and punctures. The nylon fibers within SG2 feature a uniquely flat profile, which reduces the amount of rubber between fibers. Improving the fiber-to-rubber ratio increases puncture resistance, reduces weight and improves the overall liveliness of a tire. While SG2 is primarily a puncture protection layer, its tightly woven fibers also improve air retention to better maintain pressure between rides.
Black or Tan Sidewalls
It's nice to have options, which is why most of our gravel tires are available with either black or tan sidewalls. Traditional black sidewalls tend to blend in with the components and wheels of a bike and may look sleeker in the eyes of some riders. WTB tanwall tires blend retroesque looks with modern technology to create an iconic look that has become synonymous with high-performance gravel. Looks aside, gram counters may choose our tan tires because the compounds used to make them are slightly lighter than those used to manufacture black sidewalls.

ZERO PLASTIC PACKAGING
All new WTB tires are packaged using 100% recycled materials and zero plastic. Our engineers and marketing team are constantly working towards reducing the amount of packaging our products requiring, while still providing you with the necessary information to make an informed purchasing decision. It's no small task, but minimizing the total amount of packaging has become an integral part of product development.
This results in simplistic packaging using more recycled materials and less zip ties. In the next few years, we're working to ensure 100% of WTB packaging goes in the recycling bins.
