The heart of our shop is service, and we take the craft of bike repairs seriously.
Our full-time mechanics average more than 10 years of experience - consistent, high quality repairs are the byproduct of our seasoned staff. When you bring your bicycle to us for maintenance or repair, our friendly, professionally trained technicians will assess your bike's needs and provide you with a no-obligation estimate. Whether your bike is in need of a minor adjustment or a major overhaul, we promise that your ride is in good hands.
Whenever You Need Service
We provide inspections and estimates, on the spot or by the end of the day if we're very busy.
Estimates are free for all bikes purchased at Alameda Bicycle. Estimates for tune-ups on bikes purchased elsewhere incur a $25 deposit, applicable towards the repair of your bike. This deposit is non-refundable if service is declined. You can leave your bike with us and we'll give you an itemized estimate of what your bike needs.
We offer appointments for same day service or you can drop your bike with us and leave it until it's ready.
We offer a 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee on all repairs.
Tune-Up Package Options
For the most comprehensive service and the best value, we recommend choosing one of our complete tune-up packages. We also offer a la carte bike repairs if you're in need of a minor fix or adjustment. We strive to complete your bike service quickly and accurately. LIFETIME ADJUSTMENTS AND WARRANTY
Every bike we sell includes our lifetime free adjustments - that's everything in our $75 safety check (see above for details). We always recommend that you bring your bike in once or twice a year so we can take a look - as George says, "the more we see you, the less it's going to cost."
Our lifetime service adjustments can also be upgraded to the levels above at a discounted rate on a per-tune-up basis, as needed.
Our lifetime warranty covers anything that shouldn't happen to your bike under regular riding conditions. Notice a crack in your frame? Let us know and we'll get on the horn with Specialized, Giant, Surly, All-City, Brompton - if we sold it, we'll help out. Our warranty doesn't cover flat tires or parts that are worn out from typical riding, like brake pads, chains, cassettes, and tires. It also doesn't cover any damage from an accident or crash.
Home Bike Repair
We recommend having a few products at home to help you keep your bike in excellent working condition between your annual tune-ups. We have an excellent selection of essential tools, lubricants and cleaning products, and quality work stands.
